About Me
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Supervisor in the state of Texas and a member of the National Association of Social Workers. I earned my Masters of Social Work degree through the University of Texas, Arlington and my undergraduate degree from Portland State University. I am trained in EMDR and am Trauma Certified through Colin Ross Institute for Psychological Trauma. I am also trained as a TBRI Practitioner assisting parents and caretakers in creating stronger and deeper relationships with their children and families. My passion includes supporting adolescents, those who have experienced trauma, women struggling with infertility and loss, and individuals desiring growth and awareness.

Specializing in Adolescents, Adults, and Families
Adolescents
The adolescent years are full of challenges, growth, and ongoing transition. This can be overwhelming to teens. As a counselor I strive to provide a space that allows my clients to explore and express their thoughts and feelings without judgement.
Though it may look different from teen to teen, adolescents have a natural desire to connect to others. I love to hear their perspectives on their world and their challenges. Many times, they have internal strengths and attributes waiting to be discovered.
Adults

Families
There is so much change for teenagers and their parents as they navigate adolescence into adulthood. Often times, relationships can become strained as natural growth occurs. I believe the family, the individual, and the relationship can become stronger with open communication, perspective taking (understanding), and loving conflict resolution.
As a counselor I strive to hear each family member’s desire for growth and collaborate with all members to create a supportive family unit.
